COMPREHENSIVE RESILIENCY PLAN
What is resiliency?
A community's ability to bounce back after a disaster. It is measured, in part, by the speed and effectiveness at which a community is once again functioning after a disaster.
Why is resiliency important?
When faced with turbulent change, the speed and effectiveness at which people get back into their homes; businesses resume operations; and essential infrastructure, community systems and governmental and social services are again in place are important to ensuring a community's return to viability.
